On February 5, we began a brand new sermon series on the book and the biblical character of Nehemiah. Being a conquered and forced into slavery by Assyria, then Babylon and then Persia, the Jews were a defeated, depressed and disappointed people. But God had not forgotten His people and through a nobody with no special skills, God used Nehemiah to repair, rebuild and restore not only the wall around Jerusalem, but the hearts of the Jewish people spiritually.
